My Story: From Diet-Obsessed to Metabolism-Focused Coach

I spent over 10 years doing everything "right" but feeling like a complete failure.

Restricting all week, then finding myself standing in the pantry at 9pm eating one granola bar, then another, then whatever else I could grab. Waking up the next morning feeling disgusted with myself and spending hours at the gym trying to "fix" what I'd done.

Sound familiar?

Here's the thing – I'm a problem solver by nature (thanks to my match background and 10+ years in the military). So when nothing was working, I dove deep into research mode. Podcasts, books, studies – you name it, I consumed it.

I had a breakthrough. I realized I wasn't broken. The APPROACH was broken. I needed to stop restricting and start focusing on what REAL women with REAL lives actually need – strategies to build muscle, lose body fat, and optimize their metabolism.

Once I shifted focus from calories to metabolism optimization and sustainable strategies that worked with my chaotic life, everything changed. I finally had the energy to chase my two kids around, I stopped obsessing over every bite, and – bonus – I got the strongest I'd ever been.

That's when I knew I had to help other women skip the decade of struggle I went through. I became a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, then specialized in functional nutrition and metabolism when I realized traditional approaches weren't addressing what REAL women actually need.
